Your technology has promise. Buyers need a reason to commit.

You’ve built a climate solution to solve a real problem. But getting a customer to pilot it, buy it, or commit to a long-term agreement takes more than proving the technology works.

We help climate tech companies identify their strongest commercial opportunities, make the business case clear, and build a repeatable way to reach the people who can move a purchase forward.

I’ve seen the gap between a promising technology and a buying decision.

I’m a mentor with Cleantech Open, an accelerator for early-stage clean technology companies. In the companies I’ve worked with, I’ve seen how difficult it can be to turn technical progress and enthusiastic conversations into commercial commitments.

A prospective customer can understand the potential and still hesitate. Your solution has to fit their operations, justify the investment, and give the people making the decision enough confidence to move forward.

That’s where we focus: helping you connect what your technology can do to what a specific customer needs—and what it will take for them to say yes.

You’re building a business while the path to scale gets harder.

In a 2025 market-sentiment survey, 69% of respondents expected capital availability for first-of-a-kind projects to shrink further through 2026. And 51% of investors identified first commercial-stage facilities as the toughest development stage to finance through 2026.

We don’t solve project finance. We help you strengthen the commercial side: which customers to pursue, what they need to justify a commitment, and how to build a credible path from interest to revenue.

When time and capital are constrained, your team needs to know where its business-development effort has the best chance of paying off.

Make the business case—not just the climate case.

Emissions reduction may be central to your mission. Your buyer also needs to understand what changes for their business.

Does your solution lower operating costs? Reduce exposure to energy prices? Improve reliability? Help meet a customer requirement? Protect production or secure a critical input?

We help you identify the benefits your technology can credibly deliver and connect them to the priorities of the people who control the budget.

Your climate impact stays in the story. It doesn’t have to carry the entire sale.

Find customers who can move—not just companies that look like a fit.

A company’s climate target is a starting point for research, not proof that it’s ready to buy.

You need to understand the operating problem, the people responsible for solving it, and the circumstances that could make a purchase timely.

We help you identify and investigate those opportunities—whether the opening is an equipment replacement, a capacity expansion, a customer requirement, or a need to improve efficiency.

Less time pursuing broad expressions of interest. More focus on companies with a practical reason to consider your solution.

Help buyers get comfortable with what’s new.

You’re asking someone to make a decision about a technology, supplier, or approach they may not have used before.

That means addressing more than performance. What would implementation require? What happens if something goes wrong? What evidence supports your claims? Who else needs to be involved?

We help you prepare for those questions and build the commercial case around confidence: relevant evidence, clear expectations, and an adoption path that fits the customer’s situation.

Where a smaller initial engagement makes sense, we help you define what it needs to prove—and how it could lead to a larger commitment.

Get beyond a supportive contact.

A sustainability contact may see the potential immediately. Moving forward may also require support from operations, engineering, procurement, finance, and leadership.

We help you understand who influences the decision, what each person needs to evaluate, and how to connect your solution to their responsibilities.

Your contact gets a stronger case to carry internally. Your team gets a clearer view of what still stands between a good conversation and a commercial agreement.

Build business development into the way your company works.

You shouldn’t have to restart prospecting every time a promising conversation goes quiet.

We help you build a repeatable process for identifying accounts, researching buying conditions, preparing relevant outreach, and following through.

AI supports the research and preparation. Your team stays focused on the technical and commercial conversations that need its expertise.

A more organized path to market—without making the founder responsible for every step.

FAQ
We’re still running pilots. Is it too early to work with you?

Not necessarily. The question is what a pilot needs to prove—and who will act on the result. We help clarify the commercial path alongside the technical work: who owns the problem, what evidence they need, how a larger deployment could be funded and what would trigger that decision. We don’t replace technical validation; we help connect it to a purchase.

Our buyers are in operations and engineering, not sustainability. Is that a fit?

Yes. We focus on the people responsible for evaluating, funding and using your technology, whatever their titles. That means understanding the operational problem you address, the requirements your solution must meet and the people who need to support adoption—not assuming a sustainability leader owns the purchase.

We have technical proof. Why isn’t that enough to move deals forward?

Technical proof answers whether your solution works. A buyer may still need to establish whether it fits their operation, whether the benefits justify the cost and how implementation risks will be managed. We help identify those unanswered questions and build a commercial case around evidence you can credibly support.

Should we lead with climate impact or business value?

Lead with the problem your buyer is responsible for solving. Climate impact remains part of the case, but the opening may be operating costs, reliability, resource use or a customer requirement. We help establish which benefits matter to each audience without overstating what your technology can deliver.

Where would we start?

The Buyer Intelligence Brief is a useful starting point if you need to clarify your best-fit market, the people involved in adoption or what makes an account worth pursuing. If you already have those answers and need help with a specific commercial obstacle, we can scope the work around that instead.
